What this website collects, why, and who else is involved. The short version: very little, and nothing is sold.
Who we are
liftoffwithkeith.com is the website of Liftoff with Keith, a podcast hosted by Keith Newman and produced by Newman Media Studios (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question, email keith@liftoffwithkeith.com.
What we collect on this website
When you use the contact form
We collect the name, email address, topic and message you enter. We use them to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. The message is delivered to our inbox by an email delivery provider acting on our behalf.
When you browse
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. These are used to keep the site secure and working. This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers.
Links that carry campaign tags
Links from this site to Substack include tags (for example utm_source=liftoffwithkeith.com) so we can see how many people arrive from the website. The tags say which button was clicked. They do not identify you.
Membership, newsletter and payments
The Liftoff Community and the free newsletter run on Substack. When you subscribe or pay, you give your details to Substack, and payment is taken by Substack’s payment processor. We never see or store your card number. Substack shares your name, email address and subscription status with us so that we can deliver what you signed up for. Substack’s privacy policy explains how Substack handles your data.
Other services you can reach from here
Episode pages can play a video from YouTube. The player only loads when you press play, and it uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Links to Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep things
Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as the conversation needs, and deleted when they are no longer useful. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing keith@liftoffwithkeith.com.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link at the bottom of any email.
- Manage or cancel a paid membership from your Substack account settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
