Keith Newman hosts Liftoff with Keith. He is a former journalist turned Silicon Valley dealmaker and entrepreneur, and he advises startups on storytelling, growth and go-to-market strategy.
The short version
Keith Newman is a startup advisor and tech entrepreneur focused on storytelling, growth and go-to-market strategy. He started out as a journalist, moved into Silicon Valley dealmaking, and since 2021 has hosted Liftoff with Keith, a podcast of conversations with founders, innovators and investors.
The reporter’s habit stuck. Keith asks guests for the real version of how their company got built: the success, the pain and the impact, with a bit of humor and nostalgia mixed in.
The show
Liftoff with Keith launched in March 2021 and has published 150+ episodes. A new one comes out every week on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube. Listeners rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Apple Podcasts, from 40 ratings as of October 2026.
